On 11-13th September Maccabi activists celebrated the Day of Sport! Despite the quarantine and daily increasing cases of COVID 19 doesn’t prevent Maccabi members from being physically active.

The festive had a big success! It brought a lot of joy and rich on events.

On 13th September competition on beach volleyball among male and female teams took place in Kyiv. The winners of both male and female teams were fighting for the first prize. There were enthusiastic cheers from the fans, loud emotional cues about the behavior on the set, and disappointed outcries in case of the favorite’s team defeat. However, the players’ behavior was contained. The girl, who cheered their favorite teams highly expressed their emotions, yelling “Plaaay!” in attempt to “save” falling ball.

On September 6, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, the Zaporozhye Jewish Sports and Cultural Club “Maccabi” held a wonderful event. City Jewish organizations took part in it: the Sunday school “Yahad-Maccabi”, the community center “Mazal Tov”, the Jewish gymnasium “Alef”, JA Sokhnut, the Jewish community and the Jewish women’s organization “Project Kesher”.
